Our Story.

It all started with a question: How can we make research-basedaccessible, and impactful early childhood resources to support children’s social-emotional and academic skills ?

THRIVEin3 was founded by expert researchers from the University of Virginia to do just that.

Our Roots

The work of THRIVEin3 all started at the Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning at the University of Virginia, alongside early childhood researchers and practitioners, including collaboration and funding from E3: Elevate Early Education.

Our Launch

The STREAMin3 curriculum model launched first to Virginia classrooms in 2016. Through a partnership and support from the Virginia Department of Education, STREAMin3 was provided as a free curriculum option and quickly became the most commonly used curriculum across publicly funded programs in VA. Learn more about how STREAMin3 took off, the partners who have invested to help us along the way, and join the thousands of classrooms already using the curriculum today.
